Auto Salvage Bill Dies in Ohio Senate: A bill that would have liberalized access to salvage auctions and allowed unlicensed and unregulated buyers to purchase vehicles died when the Senate adjourned without passing the bill. Go Recycling Growing in Jacksonville, FL: Owners Brian Shell and Jason Finley have grown their NW Jacksonville salvage yard quickly over the last three years, going from 4 to 30 employees. Auto Recyclers in Ontario Sponsor Charity DreamLift for Disabled or Severely Ill Kids: The Ontario Auto Recyclers Association is doing some good work as a sponsor of Sunshine Foundation’s Dream Lift. The charity helps severely ill or disabled children experience a day of independence at the Magic Kingdom. OARA members collected 139k tires and donated $358k to the Sunshine Foundation.
